2020 Hindsight

Welcome to 2020 Hindsight – a blog about my running, fitness and diet…plus some of that life stuff as well.

I’m a very late 40’s guy based in Brisbane, Australia. I was a dedicated runner through the mid 2000’s, culminating in a sub 80 half and a 2:48 marathon in 2006 before breaking down later that year. I managed a short comeback that resulted in a post 40 2:58 in 2012 before sliding ingloriously in battles with injury and weight through the remainder of the decade.

Now, having managed to get my weight back under control and managing some running again, I’m planning to use 2020 as the year I see how the body reacts to increasing load.
